Many “churches” revolve around supplying marginal (at best) Christians with a weekly “service” geared towards either:

Pseudo-spiritual intensity to feed their carnality; or

A monopolizing monologue to feed their passivity …

Then wonder why they never grow up to become the multi-gifted, multi-functional, multi-part Body of Christ like the New Testament commands.

It’s a vicious trap.
