It is unfortunate that so-called “reformed” theologians have such a low view of God and His sovereignty …
That they implicitly believe He’s incapable of choosing to let us reject His grace when offered.
It’s not that they are bad Christians, but on this key doctrine they presume to confine God’s will to a theological cage of their own choosing.
Much to their chagrin, however, God presumes, wills and chooses differently.

Speaking to Christians in Laodicea, Christ says: “Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.” Rev. 3:19-20
