Consider this:

Actual relational participatory church is impossible …

Unless we learn to prefer one another above ourselves.

But we can’t learn to prefer one another above ourselves …

If we keep acting and reacting and trying to relate out of the hurts and wrongs we’re still carrying.

When we do that, we are elevating our own issues above those with whom God desires to connect us.

So for the sake of one another, humble yourself before God by giving your past to Him.

Confess as needed, forgive where needed, then watch what God does …

By finally connecting you together, one with another.
